Pornography & Sexual Addiction

Pornography and sexual addiction have become major problems in our current culture.  While offering the promise of “great sex”, the onslaught of sexual images from television, movies, magazines and particularly the internet has instead destroyed the sex lives of millions of men and women.

For many, the issues of pornography, lust and fantasy have devastated their marriages.  Statistics show that 50% of Christian men are addicted to pornography.  No church is immune.  Men are entrenched in decade’s long negative patterns and this is usually a long term battle to conquer.

Sexual addiction is just that:  an addiction - not unlike drug or alcohol addiction.  Few addicts can just “stop on their own”.

For individuals looking for help, we recommend the Pure Online program as an effective tool in breaking the destructive powers of pornography and sexual addiction.

For churches looking to provide support for the members of their congregation, please consider the AVENUE ministry.  Our friends, Clay and Susan Allen, founded AVENUE to equip the church to deal with this silent epidemic.  AVENUE provides all the tools and leadership support you need to offer healing to those church members and people in your community desperately seeking answers.
